Author’s Report-Seeking Common Ground
I had a great time Saturday in Rochester, NY. It was a wonderful collection of people interested in everything from sustainable food production to balancing your life. One of my favorite readers, Evan, was there with his dad, Luc. Evan is in third grade and has helped me out more than once. He is the eagle-eyed kid who found a typo on my puzzle and Saturday he watched my table for a while and then helped me pack up. Thanks, Evan!
Driving up and back was cool because the trees are doing neat things these days. It reminds me of autumn, when the variety of color is just stunning. Right now, the variety of colors is subtle, but vast. Ever tree’s budding has a bit of different tint to it and when you look at a whole hillside, you can see all the shades. I love it!
