Green Festival DC

Lee Welles will be with Chelsea Green Publishing at the Green Festival-Washington DC October 14th and 15th This festival features over 200 speakers & 400 eco-minded businesses, organic foods, yoga, green films and live music. Wow! Sounds like a fun fun weekend!

    It was so nice to meet you and your husband at the Green Festival. I read the book this weekend and LOVED it!!! I’m really looking forward to the next books. Your husband mentioned how a reviewer had said it was “Harry Potter meets Sierra Club” and I’d just like to add that I’m a big “Ent” fan from the Towers Trilogy, so this was a great read. Always knew trees were fun. And the imagery of my hometown area made me so HOMESICK!!! But you were “spot on” and I really enjoyed the book.
    Thank you also for singing the book for my daughter who’s only 4, but anxiously awaiting me opening the CD. :-) Thanks again! – Maxine
