Author’s Report-Rochester Book Fest

The Rochester Children’s Book Festival was awesom! As you can see in the pictures below (click to make them bigger) there were a LOT of people. At the beginning of the day, a group of four friends who each got a copy of Enter the Earth. I am wondering which one was the “earth” girl, which one was “fire” and “water” and “air”!

I was so busy I never really got to walk around and meet the other author’s. James Howe was there, he is the author of Bunnicula. My hubby’s classes LOVE that book, so he got a signed copy of Bunnicula and Edgar Allen Poe!

I gave a workshop called Writing In 3-D. It was great and one participant said it helped her more than any other writing advice she’d gotten! That made me feel really good–warm & fuzzy!

It was a wonderful day and Lift Bridge Book Store in Brockport, NY did a fantastic job running the show!
