Busy Gal Begets Good Books

Hi All,
I’ve been out and about quite alot lately. Not only going to a lot of Gaia Girls events, but knocking on doors in the 2nd Ward of my hometown.

I’m running for City Council! It is great fun meeting all my neighbors and I hope that I can represent their needs if I win in November. It is a lot of hard work and, to be honest, I’m a bit tired. But I wanted to share this to show that authors don’t just write about things…they DO things!

I love my city and think I’m unbelievably lucky to live in a country where I can run for elected office and contribute to the future.

I was in Washington DC this past weekend at the Green Festival. Maybe being in our nation’s capital has me pondering on the wonders of democracy!

The Green Festival was awesome and I met so many cool kids! I will get pictures up soon…promise. I’m a busy gal. But, being out engaged in the world always gives me good stuff to tuck into my stories!
