Goodbye Samantha
Today is a sad day in my home. We said goodbye to our darling, old kitty cat, Samantha. She was my hubby’s cat when I met him and her picture (along with my dog, Cleo) was on our wedding invitations. It said, “Our Owner’s Are Getting Married!”
She was tiny, about 6 pounds, but had seven toes on each of her front paws! When a cat has extra toes, they are called polydactyl cats. I called her “SamSquatch” ‘cuz she had big feet!
She will be missed.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss, Lee; losing a pet is like losing a kid.

Thank you! It is amazing how much pets add to our lives. There is nothing like the unconditional love a pet can give you! I wrote about it in my weekly Star Gazette Real Wellness Column: http://www.stargazette.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071127/COLUMNIST27/711270313/1056/ARCHIVES

It stinks when your love dies. We had to give my cat away because my dad was very allergic. I cried a lot.
