I wish I had time to share ideas, form groups, and have meetings with all of you. But I gotta write Book 3!!
I’m happy to point you toward Roots & Shoots. I LOVE this organization! It is about kids coming up with ideas to help in their own communities. You can see what other kids are doing, join groups or start your own!
Best of all, it was started by one of my all time heroes, Jane Goodall. When I was young, through great public television, I saw Jane Goodall observing the chimpanzees of Gombe Stream and I sooooo wanted to be her! I credit Ms. Goodall with being one of the cornerstones in my foundation of caring about the earth.
