ONE CHANGE 2 MAKE in ’08
2008! It is going to be an amazing year! I’m hoping that all you Gaia Girls and Gaia Guys will join me in making some Gaia-friendly changes in your homes, schools and neighborhoods. Let’s start simple, but start in a way that we can measure the results!

Switching from a regular (incandescent) bulb to a energy-efficient compact fluorescent (CFL) light bulbs will not only keep carbon out of the air, but save your household money! This is cool! My Girl Scout troop recently distributed over 500 free CFLs. We signed up with Sierra Club and PG&E. It was a great project to help educate people that we can all help the environment. – Starla

Maybe your troop should make their own One Billion Bulbs group! Did you know that Gaia Girls has been used in Girl Scout books clubs in NY and CA?
