EARTH DAY APPROACHES!
A day to celebrate all that the Gaia does for us! It is easy to forget that the earth provides all our food, our heat, our homes, our toys, our books, and cozy sheets at night. The earth entertains us with bird song, sunsets and crashing ocean waves. We can sing because we have air to breathe. We smell the richness of spring and feel our hearts lighten. All around us nature teaches lessons of life, death, patience, exuberance, beauty, boldness and interconnectedness.What are you doing on Earth Day? I will be doing a number of events that week (more info coming!) and am interested to know how you will celebrate Gaia and what you will do differently this year to tread a little lighter!

This year my family is doubling our garden space. We’re planting a lot more of our veggies, and we’re beginning to buy our meat products directly from local farms.
I just want to say that I recently purchased 2 copies of each of the Gaia Girls books currently available…one copy for me and one for my 8yo niece.
I LOVED THEM and can’t wait for the next!
