FINALLY, PHOTOS!

Between not having the right software and being very busy, I’m WAY behind on both posting event photos and answering email from you, dear reader!  My deepest apologies and I am catching up on both this weekend!  You should know how much I love getting the email and reading your blog posts.  Writing can be a lonely business; but when I start my day hearing from you all, it makes me smile!

I’m starting with photos from the Cool Kids Eco-Fest in Batavia, NY.  The cool Gaia Girls you see with the lizard is Ember! I LOVE the picture of the Red-Tailed Hawk striking the same pose as the illustration in Gaia Girls!  Can you guess what kind of creature that is in the cage?  Let me know your guess and I’ll send you a surprise photo if you’re right!

I was back in Batavia later in the week to sign books at the charming Present Tense Bookstore.  Check it out!

Aw the birds are so cute! I love owls, and I have a cockatiel which is like a cockatoo! but I think My bird thinks she’s an eagle. Where I live there is a place called meadowside and they have injured birds they are very cool. The screech owl was especially cute, and when I saw the eagle it started cawing
