I found my creepy bug in my Aunt's tool shed. The corner was damp and dark. When I first saw it, it was just standing on the wall, but after a while it jumped onto the floor, but I didn't stick around to see where it went next! The bug was a mix of brown and back and it had really big hind legs and 2 long antennae. The creepy crawler had no wings and I think I saw 6 legs, but I might be wrong, it also had a humpback, kind of like a camel! My Aunt told me the creature was called a camelback cricket and after I found that out, I did some research and found out some really cool facts! The cricket is practically blind so sometimes the bug jumps toward you instead of away from you if you try to shoo it away. Also, the camelback cricket likes damp, dark areas, so they are often found in sheds or basements. These crickets are alsoo nicknamed cave crickets, and my Aunt calls the sprickets because they look like a cross between a spider and a cricket.
So there you go, thats my creepy bug, I had a lot of fun researching this bug, and I look forward to the next Gaia Mission!
