My favorite Gaia-place is called Kobi’s garden. It’s in our backyard under the willow trees. We made it in the spot where our dog kobi was buried. My dad put a birdbath and a bird feeder. We planted our favorite flowers there. I like to catch pillbugs from the wormbin there.

I can’t decide between two places
1. The area where my friend Jaclyn lives. She lives out in the country so there aren’t many people. there is a lot of hills and meadows and dense forests too. You can see Sugarloaf mountain in the back round and a few other smaller mountains. There is always a breeze and I love where she lives! I would really want to move there haha. It smells fresh…I can’t explain. Maybe like green grass? And I always hear a bird squaking or a fox yelping or groundhogs chuckling.
2. Would be a place that I can’t remember the name of. It’s a forest and there isn’t much population at all near it. It is so beautiful and green and the sun’s rays make the creek golden and I love it there! There isn’t much to hear then a hawk cry every now and then, but in my head for some reason I either hear a clock ticking to a beat of a bittersweet song with no words and it makes be sad…but happy? but mostly sad. And I’m not sure why. I also get flooded with memories of friends and adventures. it’s also fun to explore there.
My parents favorite place was probably the lake near our old house. It was called lake marion and it was beautiful. There was willow trees everywhere and I used to sit under it and feed ducks that sat next to me, especially my favorite one, snapper. His name says it all.
–I also thought it was funny how you dog pops out of no where and climbs the tree! All my dog does is run circles around them haha. OH and I have that hat you were wearing! Is it “Life is Good”? I think that’s the brand. But yeah, haha

Hey Scout! Yep, that’s a Life is Good hat. Ask your parents about when they were 9-12 years old, where they went. You might be surprised by a story you’ve never heard!
Scout says:
yeah ok I will sometime today. My dad left on a business trip but my mom is here. We repainted my kitchen though so she is on a frenzy to get it finished haha.
That’s awesome! YEAH I’VE GOT THE SAME HAT AS MS LEE!!!
I TOTALLY forgot about one of my favorite places! I CANT BELIEVE I FORGOT! One place that probably tops all is the Rocky Gap Lodge. It’s a hotel near Rocky Gap (a mountain somewhere in maryland or virginia I can’t remember if we were out of state yet. Its a hotel but its quiet most times and its SO BEAUTIFUL! there are hiking trails and a huge lake thats so peaceful that you can swim in. Behind the lake is a mountain thats so pretty and the trees make it look like a giant green hill. I love watching the clouds shadows trail up it. They also have an aviary was it? But there are rescued birds there and one of the red tailed hawks seemed to like me because it followed me around. The wind was always blowing softly and it sounded like brushing leaves . I really wanna go there again now that I think of it!
I talk to much =]
-scout (yay thunderstorm on its way!)
Lee Welles-author says:
How many of you are already back in school? Tomorrow is Friday and only TWO people have a favorite place? I’m surprise!
Scout says:
i’m still out of school! I go to a private one so we don’t get back in till after labor day. I’m so nervous to see what class I’m in and if I’m with my friends! Our open house is tomorrow. It’s my last year at this school to. Then highschool! They added a preschool to our school…I wonder how that will go! I’m sure it will be fun with little kids.
i’m surprised too I was wondering about that because there wasn’t new comments for a while!
