Fun Fiction or “Real Fiction”

This post is direct to the fabulously imaginative writers who have posted to the first “Fall for Fiction” installment: Adrie, Tessa-of-the-Sea, Scout, 5th Gaia Girls and Gaia Girls55  I have a bit of a problem, but I think you will be able to help me out.

Not many people know, but I have been contracted to write the first book in a new girls series. Not only will this be a book, but will involve online/computer games, jewelry and more! The creator and I are coming up on a tight deadline and I have to stay focused on finishing this book. I’m about 2/3rds done right now.

In all honesty, I thought I would be done with it by the time I did Fall for Fiction, but we ended up re-doing major sections.  I would like to suspend Fall for Fiction for now.

However, we need some test readers for this new book and you guys have such a flair for the fanciful, I think you would be an excellent choice!  Are you interested?  It has to be kept confidential, but we would value your feedback and suggestions for improving it.

If you are interested, I will make a password protected section of the blog and email passwords to you so that you can download portions of the book.  This is going to be a real book and you will see fiction in progress (I have notes to myself strewn throughout the story.)

Let me know your thoughts.

    I would beg my Mom to get the book on amazon.com as soon as it was out!!! I love talking on the blog and I haven’t gotten to lately. I also want to give honest feedback. The online thing sounds SO great!!!! Good luck Lee!!

If i don’t get to test read it, I’m going to beg my mom to get it when it comes out!( I still havn’t read the secound gaia girls becuase whenever we got o the bookstore-which is often- their always sold out!)

    If they are sold out, ask them to order more! Sometimes they are unaware that the book is wanted and my books are generally not on the automatic re-order that newer titles are. Make sure you tell them how much you love it! :) Thanks!
