Do You Journal?

I was just getting ready to write in my journal for a while and it made me wonder if you, dear blogger, journal as well. 

I write almost every day, about three pages longhand. I’m very picky about what pen I use.  I had a favorite brand and now I can’t find it!  So yesterday I bought four different kinds of pens and I’m going to test drive one a day for the next four days.

I started my first journal in fifth grade.  I still have it! I started that notebook in fifth and didn’t get through it until seventh grade.  Its interesting reading.  I now have a huge stack of journals up in the attic. 

My journal is where I complain, whine, worry, and speculate about the future.  That way, when I go to bed, I don’t have to take it all with me!

    I do keep a journal! I write in it every night about 1 and a half pages and i have a special pen that I use because I like the color ( grey but shiny). I love to read my old journals, I have like 5 of them, they are stacked under my bedside table. I keep my journal in a secret place because I don’t want anyone reading it because that’s where I write personal things.

    I sort of journal… I take old notebooks, you know, the “composition” notebooks that they give you in Language Arts, and I rip out old assignments, then I decorate the front. My first one was “my little notebook of doodles and jots”, the second one was a notebook that I covered in an old pair of jeans with a change pocket and belt loop for keeping pens and pencils, and my current one is a journal that I sewed together with elastic string. It’s made of various bits of paper and I covered it in leaves. In these journals I draw pictures, sometimes I write story ideas, and usually I write cute little doodle ideas like little bumblebees and octopi.

    Those are my journals!

    I’ve never made my own journal! Very Gaia. I like the idea of having a pocket for my pens. Maybe then my favorite ones wouldn’t keep dissapearing!

    Yeah it tells you how to do it with just paper but I used the composition books and just hot glued it over the covers.

    Hi! This is also a pretty late comment, but, yes, I journal except, i journal my dreams… I recently had this Gaia Girls dream where I was at the zoo looking at the otter when, suddenly I was elizabeth and I was going down the river, then I was Miho and i was swimming in the river…then the dream ended.
