Keeping Time…Gaia-Style!

I ADORE my Ecological Calendar! I have the big one hanging in my kitchen and now use the weekly datebook too.  How else would I know that Jupiter has joined Mars, Mercury and Saturn in the morning sky.

I like dividing the year by Solstice and Equinox. Ilike knowing the moon phases. I like being aware of meteor showers, so I know when to look up alot! I love the “Sun Band,” it keeps me hopeful for warmer days to come. I dig the art and the eco-factoids.  I find the creative names for the days humorous…today is “BeechSpine,” by the way. (Tomorrow is “MarshHawk.”

Right now, the website is showing the “Winter panel.” This is what is hanging in my kitchen, right next to the fridge. It’s about three feet long! Check it out.

That is so cool! I have never seen an ecological calender before! I wonder where I could get one…..
So anyway, it was really interesting to look at. And I love the pictures on it, they are very detailed! It’s so cold in NY! I was outside playing with my two dogs. One of them loves agility and they didn’t even notice the snow. I did….. :)
