Not sure if this is one or not, but in my family i came up with the idea of having a plant by the sink and dumping extra water from cups and glasses after meals into the plant instead of the sink.

That’s a really good idea!! My family could use something like that… except it would have to be able to have juice, and milk too.

My grandfather has started a compost pile by putting vegetable peelings and other food in to a pile of soil. That soil is then used for his garden, where he grows excellent crops that my family doesn’t have to pay for.
