Save the Date!

June 7th, I am launching Radio Gaia and I want YOU to participate! This monthly program will use the four elements: earth, air, fire, and water as our guide to exploring Gaia and highlighting real Gaia Heroes.

You can call in and talk to me or any of my guests!  The show will be “airing” at Blog Talk Radio at Noon on Sunday June 7th.  Each episode will air on the date of the full moon.

If you have ideas for future guests, let me know! I’ll be sending out reminders when we are closer to the date.  But I wanted the bloggers to be the first to know!

I HATE radio disney! The Jonas Brothers make me want to rech! All of them are awful and it is not even real music! I also do not like ANY pop songs. I like listining to Mark Levin better than that! I prefer old songs like Billy Joel and the Beatles. Kiss is also good. That is real music! Full moon radio is an awesome idea! :)

Oh my gosh! We are going to get chickens! My mom likes organic eggs, I love animals and the urm… chicken manure is great for fertalizer!! I am sooo ecxited! We also have a big garden this year and a strawberry patch! In our garden we are growing pole beans, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, melons, lettuce, radishes, basil, parsley, oregano, melons, and arugala! I am SO unbelevably excited! My parents say as long as I do the research(done)and come up with some money we can get them!!!!!!!!!!:)

Good job being self sufficient, juliaguila!

Also, if you ever get bigger animals (sheep and cows and such) You can cut back (no pun intended) on cutting your grass, so the animals do it for you! And, if you wanted to make hay bales, cut your grass rarely, so the stalks are long when you do cut it, then let it dry and rake it all up and voila! Free hay!

Mmmm… all those vegetables are making me hungry :)

Juliagulia…if you can, call into the Radio Gaia show on Sunday and you can tell everyone about your chicken project! I have a VERY cool guest on right around 12:05pm. Linda Faillace is a farmer and author of “Mad Sheep.” Her kids are shepherds and cheese-makers! Hope to “hear” you then!

oh! We get our eggs from family friends who are urban farmers. The urban farmers I know just raise chickens, but I’ve heard of some who have beehives and keep goats.

Urban, as in the city. I left out that detail.
