I couldn’t embed the “official trailer” for Food Inc. But, since I think it’s great, I encourage you to go watch it here .

If they can’t make it to the theater, have them watch the video below. It is the NOW inteview with filmaker,Robert Kenner. Don’t forget, Gaia Girls Enter the Earth is based on the real world! I hope this movie helps Gaia!

    6th grade is over! I finished with a GPA of 97.93!!!!!! That is every single class I took the whole year! Have you ever read gone with the wind? It is fantastic! I HATE Scarlet O’Hara! Shes so selfish!

    WOWZER! You’re one smart Gaia Girl! I have not read Gone With the Wind. I’ve seen the movie several times. How much to you enjoy the writing style (vs. the plot/story, and characters)

    I think that the book gets more in depth with the characters, in the movie you just automaticly hate Scarlet O’Hara but you start to understand what she is going through. The writing style is good, and I like the setting, during the civil war. It is really intense with people getting killed in war, (the three Tarleton brothers) people getting sick and dying(scarlet’s mother)and then her father goes crazy! But it is really good, and it has taken me more than a week to read….which is probably why my mom took it out of the basement for me to read…… :)

    I haven’t read her books. I saw the Ella Enchanted movie (gee, you’d think an author would have more time to read!) I liked the concept immendsely and will have to check out her work.

    her books are amazing they are so descriptive. you can actually picture everything perfectly in your mind. my best friend introduced me to your books 3 years ago and ive loved them ever since. i wish you could come do a presentation at my school, although i might faint if you do. it just made my day when i saw you responded. could you guess a due date for your next book? ive been saving my borders giftcard from last christmas for it. i sent you a e-mail yesterday and i hope you got it. if you wanna know more about climate actions just let me know

    Depending on where your school is, I could visit, or do a “virtual visit,” where I talk to students either via videoconferencing or internet-based conferencing. When you’re back in school, have your teacher or librarian contact me through the website.
