Solstice Surprise Postponed

Hi All,
I had something great lined up for this evening. However, in my role a city councilman (and soon-to-be deputy mayor!) I was called into a meeting this evening. I’m very sorry and will reschedule the Solstice Surprise soon.

Guess what I got for Christmas, a Gaia Girls hat and t-shirt.YYYAAAAAAAAA! I wanted them so bad and I got them. I saw the Avatar movie with my Mom. If I could rate it from 1 to 10 I would give it a 11! It is in the top two in my list of movies. (Spiderwick is my other favorite movie in the top 2.)

I got books, books, books! (Oh, and my darling hubby paid for a YEAR of tap dancing lessons back in September!)
I’m most excited to read “Edenborn” it is a follow up book to Idylwild, by Nick Sagan. I’m also pretty jazzed to read the biography of Abagail Adams that my dad gave me.
I’m glad Avatar is an 11! We are going to drive to Rochester, NY to see it on an IMAX screen in 3-D! Woo Hoo!
gaiaigirls101, Wow-a camera and a laptop. You are all set to blog! :)

we just had fll practice (see first lego league.org for more information). we scored a 390 on our robot mission! our project is about using the massive amounts of snow we get here to power cars. we also learned about this awesome new type of concrete called self healing concrete, it does exactly that. it works when it gets wet, the water mixes with the chemicals in the concrete and fills in the cracks.
(if you would like to learn more about our project i can e-mail you the details
