The Amazing Bloom Box
Today I spoke to the 5th and 6th graders at Horseheads Intermediate School . The sixth grade kids heard about life as a writer. The fifth grade kids, however, heard about being “Gaia Heroes!”
One of the qualities of a Gaia Hero is being able to imagine new ways of doing things. I used The Bloom Box, a potentially revolutionary new source of energy, as one example. I hope they, and you, check out the video from CBS’s 60 Minutes.
Wouldn’t it be great if we could get electricity without blowing off the tops of mountains?
