Visits
Lee is an engaging and entertaining school guest. She can present on a variety of topics including: the magic of reading, the business of writing, Gaia theory and why kids will be the heroes. Lee enjoys tailoring her presentation to your group’s size and venue (auditorium or classroom.) If you are looking for a way to bring energy and enthusiasm to your ELA and/or science curriculum, a visit from Lee will do it!

- Writing in 3-D – Using all the senses to create realism.
Tips for a great author visit
Familiarity with the author’s work is the key to an enthusiastic audience!
Classroom kits are available. Or, it is recommended that at least the first 7 chapters of Gaia Girls Enter the Earth are read aloud prior to your visit.
Inquire about support materials for before and/or after the presentation.
- Author should be set up in one location for the duration of the visit.
- Allow a 10 minute break between presentations.
